Browns Department Stores is one of the North of England’s leading family businesses established over 100 years ago and operating from four boutique locations.
Our Approach
In common with many department stores the opportunity to create an online store was limited by difficulties associated with concession brands. A programme was developed and launched by us supported by the training of Browns staff. Loyalty driven retention campaigns then followed, powered by Response Works. It is now the single most important marketing activity undertaken by the client as we deliver campaigns across all measurable media driving footfall in store and online.
The Results
- Customer base grown by 60,000 over 12 months
- ATV increased by 41%
- Loyal customer base of 65% now allows for predictable results
The application of Response Works technology, cost effective marketing and considered development of our brand is now enabling us to market directly to our customers extremely effectively. It has enabled us to re-evaluate our media spend and would recommend the Response Works strategy of ‘cross channel’ marketing to retailers.
